Ms. Maha Rouabhia

Maha began Belly Dancing at a very early age, in fact, as soon as she learned how to walk!

Growing up in an Arabic family that opportune occasions of Belly Dancing during gatherings spurred her desire to transfer this passion for Belly Dancing to others.  Her other passion, Latin dancing, came to rise in 1997, where she partnered with well known local Montreal (Canada) dancers during her residence there.  Maha performed in several shows and guided the instruction of dancers from 2001 to present.  She also made several appearances on T.V. and the Cinema in Canada & the U.S. While earning degrees in Marketing & Management and then English Literature from McGill University then Concordia University.  During her course of studies she ensured taking electives in Modern Dance, Ballet Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Ballroom Dancing, Flamenco and Salsa.  Her full time job as a flight attendant with Air Canada provided her with the opportunity to travel the world, even when she had a layover of a mere 24 hours; she always managed to hunt a local salsa club to increase her variety of dance experiences through different regions. It is there that she discovered that the least likely places like Osaka (Japan), Mainz (Germany), Paris (France), Tel Aviv (Israel), housed a generous number of fantastic Salsa dancers! And of course, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver (Canada) and several cities in the U.S. (L.A., N.Y. Miami and Houston) and now Cyprus has contributed to her experience in Salsa dancing. Being fluent in 5 languages (English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Greek) gives her multicultural students an advantage by learning to dance without language barriers. Maha lived in Syria, Algeria, U.S., and Canada these countries gave Maha access to a great myriad of dance styles and skills. That, coupled with her roots in Belly Dance, culminates a potent mix for a unique dance style.

Today Maha lives with her husband and two daughters in Cyprus.  She continues to work on developing students dancing skills and choreographing dances for live performances.

Maha is also active in the print & media scene ranging from modelling, acting and TV presenting. Maha gained apprentice membership credits with A.C.T.R.A for different roles. She also made several appearances as a dancer/extra for silver screen. Here are some highlights:

Maria holds a degree in psychology and is currently attaining a Masters in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.  Maria's educational background juxtaposed to her dance training create a significant tool in training students with special needs, both physically and mentally. Maria's dance background ranges from rhythmic gymnastics (ribbon dancing), Latin dancing, belly Dancing and classical Ballet. Maria's graceful and fluid movement in dancing espouses movement that is both hypnotic and mesmerizing.

Nina Poulouzasvili

With over 10 years of Hip Hop under her belt Nina is fire on the dance floor. Initially groomed under the wings of Rebel Dancers, Nina's locking and popping tricks are pristine to watch. After entering various international and street battles her knowledge of the hip hop culture grew bigger.  She was chosen to be part of a professional dance crew in Derby-UK that was managed by ''Steady'' that is one of the top b-boys in UK, and is part of the '' Flowless'' crew that gained respect on ''Britain's got talent''.  Dancing alongside ''Steady'' and other world renown dancers she trained in other hip hop and funk styles such as house, popping, locking and whacking.  Nina took workshops and master classes from the pioneers of different hip hop styles as well as other styles of dance such as contemporary, ballet and Latin.  Nina worked with different companies all over UK (Derby, Birmingham,Sheffield, Stafford). Having enriched her training by learning about the variety of styles of dance she created her own unique style and was chosen to dance as an opening act for hip hop/R&B artist Flo-Rida.

Irene Markou

Irene has been educated as an instructor in the Yoga of laughter (Laughter Yoga).

As a result of the effectiveness of Laughter Yoga, Irene is deeply drawn to furthering herself and others in the education of Laughter Yoga.

Laughter Yoga evolved her experience and creativity and of course, brought about a lot of incredible laughter! Irene is an active member in various spiritual organizations and volunteer in various services. And of course without a doubt, Irene loves Latin dancing!

Irene has a degree in Marketing (BBA Marketing) and a postgraduate in the Administration of Enterprises (MBA Master of Business Administration).

Having been in the business culture, Irene understands very well the pressures of this high paced environment, she takes this knowledge and through her therapeutic Laughter Yoga classes, she evaporates the stresses of the day and helps clients release every inch of pressure and negativity through the wonderful course of laughter in her Laughter Yoga classes.

Only known as Bounce thank you! Bounce started Break Dancing since 2005, trained by top coaches. Bounce created and performs with his own crew named Liquid Fire. As a B-boy, he participated in events in Cyprus and Europe. Bounce is passionate about his craft and considering dancing a daily learning challenge. Knowing that ''Breaking'' or B-boying, aims to break the human form and create personalized style through an abstract sphere of feelings such as discomfort and happiness. To understand ones body as one with mind through the use of ones bones abstractly ones muscles,  blood, oxygen to make those chemical substances, that we call feelings, flow in ones brain and create the obligation to express oneself on the floor. With one word, creativity. This is what will be felt in Bounce's classes. His classes have limited space due to the large space needed, so book classes early!

Steve has been a professional dancer for 10 years, he began cultivating his passionate art from a very young age in Cameroon. Steve is an open-minded and creative dancer constantly searching for new dance styles to improve his personal style. In his 10 years of professional dancing, Steve has come to master various dance styles such as : New School, Krumping Dance (Harlem Check), Dancehall, Popping and Tektonik Dance. He has taken part in numerous dance competitions of which he won, he has collaborated with renowned dancers and has been part of numerous workshops in France. He is featured in a number of dance shows and video clips. Here are some highlights of his career:

Her training background at Laban Dance Institute in London and Gegordiadou in Athens gained her degrees in Ballet and Contemporary dance.  Passionate about dance and about expanding her dance knowledge, Stavri continuously seeks workshops that enhance her art.
